My name is Yashar and I’m a photographer living in Houston, TX.  I love photographing couples, meaningful moments and concerts.

I’ve had a passion for photography for the last 10+ years. I started out mainly taking photos at concerts but eventually realized I also wanted to connect with the subjects I’m taking photos of, and quite frankly I’m a lover of love. So I started taking photos of people in love.

Then the last two years of my life have been quite…exciting. I’m not really sure how else to put it but I was living in Houston, then a series of events, and then BAM! I find myself living in Yosemite National Park for 5 months. This period of my life turned out to be one of the greatest times of my life (minus the bats flying into my room): being able to see the milky way with my naked eye, swing off a side of a mountain, hike up half dome, meet some amazing people and be surrounded by nature. Now although I am now back living in Houston, that period of my life made me realize I wanted more of that. I want to capture people in love in beautiful surroundings, whether that be Houston, Yosemite or your backyard.

I am inspired by love, good people, traveling, music, love stories, and art. I believe everyone should have moments and photos of themselves that they can look back on and smile.
